In Memory of Robert A. Blythe, Sr.January 15, 1953 - May 31, 2021Robert A. Blythe, Sr. (Bob), passed away on May 31, 2021 in South Florida. Bob was born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 15, 1953 to Harry E. Blythe and Sally Blythe Sevanich. He graduated from Shaler High School in 1971, and then moved to Pascagoula, MS where he worked on Naval ships at Ingalls Shipyard. He moved to South Florida and spent his early years working at Tracor Marine before he founded his successful business, American Marine Repair in 1987. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, Disney and fishing on his boat, the Darla B, in the Florida Keys. Bob is survived by his wife of 32 years, Darla, his children Robert (Yasmin) and Carly (Kurt), granddaughter Monica, mother Sally, sisters Tina (Vince) and Teri, and many nephews and nieces. A funeral service will be held on June 11, 2021 at Fred Hunter's in Davie, FL. In lieu of flowers, to honor Bob's valiant fight against Glioblastoma, donations to The Musella Foundation for Brain Tumor Research and Information will be appreciated. |
