Al's Comment:

This is so sad - they always run an excellent program and it is at  a great location - in Florida - just when it is getting cold up here in the north.  When I first got involved in brain tumors, I did not understand the value of conferences like this, but after going to one - you see how amazing they are. It is not just the education - we can get that from our websites. There is also the social aspect of interacting with other families going through the same thing, comparing notes and swapping tips and making friends. You get unprecedented access to question the top doctors in the field.

Florida Brain Tumor Association Conference 12-13-14
Very sadly, the FBTA has decided to cancel this conference for the 1st time in 23 yrs. If people we planning on registering, they waited too long to do so. We can only go by the numbers that we have. To have so many renown docs travel & spend their weekend, we must provide them with a worthy audience. We do plan to continue our education efforts for those with brain tumors, as we have for the past 23 yrs. Just not THIS particular program this year. Those of you that have registered and paid for airfare, please let us know. We will reimburse you. I am trully sorry to disapoint those who really wanted to attend. Believe me, we at the FBTA are very disappointed as well.
