The Musella Foundation announced that it has awarded a $50,000 brain tumor research grant to Ninh Doan, MD, PhD, of the Medical College of Wisconsin.

 

 

 

Hewlett, NY, June 5, 2015 – The Musella Foundation For Brain Tumor Research & Information, Inc. (Musella Foundation), a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of families dealing with brain cancer, announced that it has awarded a brain tumor research grant to Ninh Doan, MD, PhD, of the Medical College of Wisconsin, for his project “Development of Acid Ceramidase Inhibitors and Tumor Vaccine against Glioblastoma”.  This is preclinical work on a new target for brain tumor treatments. If successful, it will lead to a human clinical trial.
