Arlene Frances (Brown) Sloan, born November 9, 1940, passed away peacefully in March 2024 after a brave battle with glioblastoma. Arlene, originally from New Jersey, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She brought joy and warmth to everyone she met.
Throughout her life, Arlene was known for her generosity, kindness, and infectious laughter. She loved spending time with her family, especially during holidays and Sunday dinners. A passionate reader, talented gardener, and devoted community volunteer, she touched many lives.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Martin Sloan, her children Andrea and Brian, four grandchildren, and a large extended family. Her strength and grace throughout her illness were an inspiration to all who knew her.
