In Memory of Kelly Jean Puffenbarger

Kelly grew up in Broad Run, Virginia, where she attended Fauquier County Public Schools from kindergarten through twelfth grade, graduating from Fauquier High School. Following graduation, she began her career as a pharmacy technician at Fauquier Hospital, where her caring nature and dedication to helping others quickly became evident.

A few years later, Kelly met her soulmate, Scott. The two soon married and built a life filled with love and happiness together. Their greatest joy came with the birth of their daughter, Olivia, who quickly became Kelly's most treasured gift and the center of her world.

Kelly loved many things in life, beginning with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She cherished her family and friends and had a special place in her heart for the family's beloved cat, Captain. She enjoyed listening to music, watching TikTok reels, and spending time outdoors observing the many birds and animals that visited her home. Kelly formed a special bond with a deer she affectionately named "Mama," who became such a trusted friend that she would eat directly from Kelly's hand.

For the last four years of her life, Kelly faced glioblastoma with remarkable grace, courage, and faith. She never complained and met her diagnosis with acceptance and determination. Even when the cancer returned, she continued to fight while embracing every opportunity to enjoy time with her family and friends. Through it all, she remained a source of joy and inspiration to those around her, brightening every room with her beautiful smile.

Kelly touched the lives of countless people through her kindness, strength, and unwavering love. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Kelly, we love you, we miss you, and we will carry you with us always.
