Al's Comment:

 We gave out 2 more research grants!    We already surpassed last years giving -  we gave out $430,000 in brain tumor research grants so far this year, and  $427,000 in 2021! Still not back up to pre-Covid levels - as we gave over $600,000 in each of 2018 and 2019, but we are building back up! Thank you for your help!

Musella Foundation Awards Two More Brain Tumor Research Grants!

The Musella Foundation For Brain Tumor Research & Information, Inc has awarded two more brain tumor research grants totalling $75,000!

They went to:

 

• $25,000 to Dr. Marwa Ismail for the project: " Radiomics-based Classifier to distinguish radiation effects from Glioblastoma recurrence"
  
  
• $50,000 to Santosh Kesari, MD, PhD, Chief Medical Officer of xCures, Inc, for the project: "A Learning Health System Pilot For Brain Cancer"

 

These projects were funded by donations to our National Walk To End Brain Tumor fundraiser, as well as many memorial donations and direct donations to our organization!  You can help us fund more projects by making a donation at: Virtualtrials.org/donate We have another exciting project that is approved but waiting for us to raise the money for it!  This is a pediatric brain tumor project and needs to be funded quickly.  We need to raise about $15,000 more to fund it!
