My name is Chris Ramirez, and I'm from San Francisco, California. When I was 17, I was diagnosed with glioblastoma and given less than two months to live. I've had 3 brain surgeries, but I am still here and healthy now at 33 years old! I thank God, my family, my care teams at UCSF and Kaiser Permanente Redwood City, and my neurosurgeon Dr. Allen Efron. To pay it forward, I now use my story to help support others and to bring hope and love to anyone facing a brain cancer diagnosis.
