In Memory of Daryl Scott Tautenhahn
On August 30th, 2022, Daryl Scott Tautenhahn, a loving husband and father, went to be with Christ in heaven. Scott was born in Arlington, Texas, on February 5th, 1970, to Richard and Camelia Tautenhahn. He graduated from Klein Forest High School and attended Texas Tech University. Scott met his soulmate, Kathy Tautenhahn, and they were married on October 17th, 1998. Together they raised two boys, Andrew and Taylor, and started a real estate investment company, Amazing Spaces Properties. The company grew under Scott's direction and has received numerous awards in the self-storage industry for its innovation, design, and vision. Scott loved his work and believed that if you loved what you did, you would never work a day in your life. Scott had a passion for the outdoors and nature. Some of his favorite pastimes were enjoying the beauty God created at his ranch and traveling around the globe to marvel at all God has made. Anyone who knew Scott knew he loved spending time with his family and friends. Scott put God and family before everything else in life. He always told the best stories and ensured everyone around him felt welcomed. Scott enjoyed hunting, fishing, the Houston Rockets, and spending time with his family. He was the most loving and caring father to his two sons. Scott touched so many people during his years here on earth, and everyone loved his passion for life. He loved to talk to people and always knew how to make them laugh. Scott has so many dear friends, and he would want them to know how much he appreciated every moment they spent together. Scott lived his life to the fullest and never wanted to miss out on the fun times that seemed to surround him. His legacy will live on through those who love him. Scott is survived by his wife, Kathy, a faithful wife to him in all endeavors. He is also survived by his children, Andrew and Taylor Tautenhahn. His parents Richard and Camelia (Bowman) Tautenhahn.
