FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

INTRODUCING MusicForTheCure.org - Innovative Website Raising Funds for Nonprofit Organization While Promoting Mission of Hope and Making a Difference for Cancer Survivors.

NEW YORK, NY - January 5, 2004 - Steps For Living, Inc. (SFL), a Brooklyn-based not-for-profit charity, celebrates its 2005 launch with it's first official online fundraising drive entitled Music For The Cure.

At the center of this effort lies a targeted, direct marketing website, http://www.MusicForTheCure.org, optioning visitors to purchase a $10 music CD from which 100% of the proceeds will benefit SFL. The website also features free audio sound clips so visitors can sample tracks from the album Scribblings prior to placing their order.

The CD, Scribblings, features relaxing and inspiring piano solos by Matthew Zachary, an acclaimed concert pianist and composer, and nine year survivor of pediatric brain cancer.

"Matthew's music creates an environment of peace and solitude for cancer patients and their families struggling to get through the rough times.", raves Oncolink.org, "the web's first cancer resource" run by the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania.

Since it's release in 1999, Scribblings has received unprecedented critical acclaim from both the music and publishing industries as well as from numerous prestigious national cancer organizations and healthcare professionals. Over 100,000 copies have been distributed internationally.

"The 'Music For The Cure' campaign is powerful," says Zachary, "and just one of the many simple, intelligent, and forward-thinking fundraising strategies that SFL is developing to help make a difference in the lives of those affected by a diagnosis of cancer."

Theresa Mulkins, SFL's Director of Fundraising, says, "Our goal is to sell 5,000 albums and raise $50,000 over the next 3 months. I am confident we will meet that expectation."

Anyone wishing to contribute to SFL's fundraising efforts is encouraged to visit http://www.MusicForTheCure.org and purchase a copy of Scribblings.
