The Annual Meeting will begin with a reception, during which our 2005 Research Grant Award recipients present posters about their research projects and answer questions from the guests.
A special feature of the 15th Annual Meeting and Dinner will be a presentation on the history and progress of the Brain Tumor Society. Guests will have a chance to see how the Society has evolved and to reflect on the Society’s role in increased awareness, greater resources and scientific advances in the past fifteen years.
Keynote speaker Susan Pannullo, MD is a BTS Board Member as well as Director of Neuro-Oncology at Weill Cornell Medical Center; she will bring a clinician’s perspective on changes in brain tumor treatment.
The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the 2005 Research Grant Awards. This year, BTS will again award a record-breaking number of grants to some of the most promising research projects in the United States.
