Ladies of Legacy, a non-profit foundation for brain tumor survivors, is sponsoring two events in Dallas, Texas

  • a "Tea Party" on May 6 at 11:00-2:00 at the Dallas Arboretum, 8525 Garland Rd in Dallas.
  • a traveling art exhibit called "Heads Up" featuring heads designed by members of the local art community and also featuring a head by Tim McGraw's band (which won third place).
  • Dr. Virginia Stark-Vance will be giving a talk about new brain tumor treatments (featuring Avastin) at Gilda's Club in Dallas, May 11 from 6:30-7:30 pm.

The "Celebration of Life" tea is $20.00 but attendees receive a sterling silver commemorative pin. The art exhibit will travel throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area and art will be auctioned off by online auction to raise money for grants & scholarships for brain tumor patients.
