Logan Township Family Hopes to Build on Success with
4th Annual Matthew’s Miles
Walk for a Brain Tumor Cure Fundraiser
Logan Township, NJ (9-16-2006) - Brain tumors are the #1 cause of cancer-related deaths in children under the age of 20. You can help eliminate this deadly disease by joining the Passarella Family on Saturday, October 14 at 11:00 am for the 4th Annual Matthew' Miles Walkk for A Brain Tumor Cure walkathon. This event will be held at the Logan Township Recreational Park in Logan Township, New Jersey. With the support of the community, friends, family and local businesses, over $65,000 has been raised for brain tumor research. We are thankful for the continued support of local businesses, especially True Value of Swedesboro, Thomas Helwig DMD, and Bruce Paparone Homebuilders. It is our hope that this year'a event will be even more successful, said Passarella.
This year SoJo 104.9 fm will be broadcasting from the event from 10:00-11:00 am. All proceeds from the walk will be given to the Children's Cancer Foundation in support of pediatric brain tumor research.
