Schweiger Vineyards and Trifecta Wines Release New
45YGB Wine to Benefit Tug McGraw Foundation
(NAPA, Calif.) – Teamwork has resulted in a wine to celebrate the “Ya Gotta Believe” spirit of the late Tug McGraw with the release of 45YGB Red Table wine.
“Because our family has been affected by cancer,” said owner and farmer Fred Schweiger of Schweiger Vineyards “it makes sense for us to team up to help the Tug McGraw Foundation with this extremely special wine.” “At Schweiger Vineyards, it has long been our goal to allocate a portion of our limited production to cancer-related charitable causes. This wine, made completely from red varietals grown on our family estate, is a fitting tribute to Tug McGraw and we are proud that the sale of each bottle will directly benefit brain cancer patients and their families.” Just 600 cases of the wine which retails for $45 per bottle were made by Winemaker Andrew Schweiger. To purchase the 45YGB wine go to www.schweigervineyards.com or call 707-963-4882.
The bottle bears an elegant label featuring a baseball as a backdrop to an image of Tug McGraw’s signature and a large 45YGB which represents McGraw’s baseball jersey number and his personal mantra “Ya Gotta Believe.”
Schweiger Vineyards, located at an elevation of 2,000 feet on SpringMountain in the NapaValley, is a family-owned and operated boutique winery that specializes in ultra-premium, critically-acclaimed NapaValley wines including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
