Living with a Brain Tumor: A Practical Approach for Patients and Families

Description:
This is an educational program designed to provide an overview of modern treatments for primary brain tumors as well as address the impact that brain tumor diagnosis and treatments have on patients and families. The symposium will include presentations by Hartford Hospital faculty and by our distinguished guest speaker from Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Dr. Peter Black. There will be a panel presentation and a question and answer session in which participants can interact with faculty.  The program will also feature a performance by noted brain tumor survivor and singer/musician David Bailey.


Time: 2:00 PM -5:30 PM


Location: Hartford Hospital’s Education & Resource Center, 560 Hudson Street, Hartford, Connecticut
