The Case Foundation and Parade magazine are running a contest for charities to see who can get the most people involved with donating. The top 8 charities get $50,000 each, then the next 100 charities get $1,000.
Last year we participated in a similar contest and came in 3rd (but last year only the top charity won the $50,000. This year it is the top 8 - 4 from the USA, 4 outside the USA).
This counts the number of unique people who donate at least $10. NOT the total dollar value of the donations.
Each person can only make 1 donation. Family members can also donate, but must use a different credit card or paypal account.
I would like everyone to make the $10 donation (we also get the money from these donations:), and email this to all of the people in your address book - and ask if they would help also!
The deadline is 3pm on January 31. We only have a few days left, so do it now!
