Your $1 in a Million and Our Hero of Hope
Campaign hopes to raise $1 Million Dollars for Brain Tumor Research
March 25, 2008-Ashburn, VA- The Brad Kaminsky Foundation for Brain Tumor Research, an Ashburn, Virginia based not-for-profit organization that is committed to raising awareness and funds for brain tumor research, has kicked off  its “Your $1 in a Million and Our Hero of Hope” campaign to raise $1 Million dollars for brain tumor research funding. The old adage that “Every Dollar Counts” is the basis for the campaign. Lisa Kaminsky-Millar, who lost her 29 year old brother, Brad Kaminsky, to a malignant brain tumor, implemented the idea to raise awareness for the upcoming Brain Tumor Action Week ( May 4 –May 10) while raising funds to support continued research for treatments of brain tumors. She also hopes to gain support in a small way from many people. “Donating just $1 and then sending an e-mail to just a few more people will make a big impact. If everyone does just a little bit, it will add up to a lot and make a difference that is so desperately needed”, said Kaminsky-Millar. Many people are posting the information on their my space pages and caring bridge pages. For more information or if you would like to see the original formatted e-mail that is being distributed or use the original to forward to your contacts, please contact Lisa Kaminsky-Millar at DNL1231@aol.com . To donate a dollar, log onto www.tbkf.org/donate.htm
