Musella Foundation awards brain tumor research grant!

The Musella Foundation For Brain Tumor Research & Information, Inc has awarded a grant in the amount of  $49,938 to Dr Zagzag at the NYU Medical School, for a project titled:  "Combined Anti-Angiogenic and Anti-Invasive Therapy for Gliomas".  This project will attempt to improve the effectiveness of  Avastin for GBMs by adding an experimental drug which fights tumor cell invasion.

This grant was made possible by donations to our "Donald Klein memorial fund" as well as a donation from Unlocking Brain Tumors - via the Grey Ribbon Crusade, and individual donations to our organization.
