Genentech Foundation: Everyday Needs Assistance Program Launches To Support Families Struggling with Pediatric Cancer

It is with great excitement that we are pleased to announce to you that Mission4Maureen has been selected as a grant recipient of the Genentech Foundation Everyday Needs Assistance Program. Mission4Maureen has received $50,000 in grant support for 2009. We anticipate that with this support, we will be able to assist more families struggling with a pediatric brain cancer diagnosis this year.

 

As many of us are aware, families must often travel for care and are then faced with unexpected non-medical expenses such as housing, meals and childcare. The Everyday Needs Assistance Program was established to help ease the financial burden of families while they seek care for their child.
