The home opener of the NY Islander 2009-2010 season will be on
Saturday October 3, at 7PM at the Nassau Coliseum!
Come and see the debut of the Islanders #1 overall draft pick: John
Tavares; young guns, Kyle Okposo and Josh Bailey; our 2 new goalies:
Martin Biron and Dwane Roloson, and the rest of the 2009-2010 New
York Islanders take on Sidney Crosby's defending Stanley Cup
Champions, Pittsburgh Penguins!
This is going to be the most exciting home opener in years! For the
first time since the early 1980s, the home opener will probably be
sold out on the first day of sales to the public.
We only have 200 tickets this year (went through 300 last year) ,
and I think they will go fast, so if you are interested, buy them right now.
The Islanders declared the home opener as "Brain tumor awareness
night". Proceeds from this ticket selling event, as well as from the
50-50 raffle will go to brain tumor research. We will also have a
booth with brain tumor information on the concourse, so stop by if
you have any questions or would just like to chat!
We are selling tickets BELOW face value, and with no handling or
mailing fees! (But gladly accept additional donations on the checkout page!)
Prices range from $25-85. For more details and to buy tickets, go to:
