Musella Foundation Online Support Group changes name!
The Musella Foundation For Brain Tumor Research & Information, Inc announces that it's main patient online support group has changed names to "BrainTumor-Treatments".
This group was the first online group dedicated to brain tumors. It started as the Brain Tumor Forum on the Compuserve Cancer Forum back in 1992. It evolved into a threaded discussion forumn on our website, then was changed to the brain-temozolomide group - first on egroups.com, then with yahoogroups.com, back when the Temodar trials started. Now that there are many more treatment options for brain tumors, it is time to change the name yet again. From now on, the group will be called BrainTumor-Treatments. This group is for patients, families, friends, medical professionals - or anyone interested in brain tumors of any type - malignant or benign, primary or metastatic. The discussion is limited to topics of importance to families dealing with brain tumors - such as treatments, side effects, diagnostic tests, symptoms, new research and news, raising money for research. However, jokes, politics, religion are not allowed - we have separate groups for those topics.
