New Search feature on Virtualtrials.com!
As I was looking for a trial involving Avastin, I noticed that my search didn't return as many trials as expected. I figured out that some trials used the generic name, Bevacizumab and my search missed them.
So I changed the program around to add in the common brand names of drugs. So now when you search for Temodar, it will show articles and trials involving Temodar or Temozolomide. Same with a few other drugs. Same with tumor types. Search for gbm and it will show articles and trials that mention gbm, or Glioblastoma. DIPG will get expanded to DIPG, Brainstem or Pontine. Try it - let me know if I missed any.
