We have 2 programs open to help pay for your treatments!
Musella Foundation Assistance Programs
The Musella Foundation has 2 programs open that can help with the cost of treatments. One helps patients who have drug insurance and the other helps those without drug insurance.
IF you have insurance: The Copay Assistance program can help with the copayments for: Avastin, Temodar (or the generic version - Temozolomide), Gliadel or the Novocure NovoTTF-100 System. There is a very generous income qualification. See braintumorcopays.org for details and for the application. We have awarded over $1.8 million to patients since this program started. The program opens and closes as funds become available for it so check the website to see if it is open before applying.
If you need help with a treatment that we do not cover, check http://needymeds.org for other programs that might help.
If you do not have insurance: We have a Drug Discount Card program. This free card is available on our website at
http://virtualtrials.com/Drug_Discount_Card.cfm
On that web page you can enter your zip code and find a local pharmacy that accepts the card. Just show the card to your pharmacist and ask what the discount is for your prescription. The discount varies, sometimes it isn’t much but sometimes it is. So far, our members saved over $28,000 using this card! There is no cost to you for the card, and you do not even have to register. You can let your friends and family use it – it is not just for brain tumor treatments – so try it. Let us know how it works for you.
