Walking for charity

Approximately 320 sixth graders walked around Middlebrook’s lower football field and tennis courts for this year’s Sixth Grade Walk-a-thon on April 29. The annual service project raises money for charities selected by students on each sixth grade team. Six Yellow walked for the Musella Foundation for Brain Tumor Research & Information, Six Red for Operation Homefront, and Six Green for the American Cancer Society. Altogether, the students raised close to $10,000.
