Al's Comment:

 There is a drug in clinical trials that targets this marker in other cancers. This project will do preclinical testing which, if successful, will lead to a clinical trial of this drug in pediatric DIPG.

Musella Foundation awards a pediatric brain tumor grant!
 
 
Hewlett, NY 1/309/2019 - The Musella Foundation announced that it has awarded a $30,000 grant to Dr. Bandopadhayay and Dr. Ligon at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for the project: "MDM2 as a therapeutic target in PPM1D mutant Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma" This grant is from our DIPG All-In-Initiative fund.
