Please look for the hashtag #GBMDay on social media on Wednesday and retweet it so we can get it trending!
The Musella Foundation thanks Senators Graham (R-SC) and Markey (D-MA) and their colleagues for their bipartisan resolution, passed unanimously by the U.S. Senate, establishing July 17th as Glioblastoma (GBM) Awareness Day. We thank the National Brain Tumor Society for taking the lead on this project!
Approximately 13,000 people will be diagnosed this year in the U.S. with a GBM, a devastating and incurable brain cancer that only has a 5% 5 year overall survival rate. We are losing too many people to GBM and we must work together in all sectors, private, government, and non-profit, to combat this disease. Use the hashtag #GBMDay on July 17th on social media as the brain tumor community unites to work toward a cure for GBM.
I urge you to donate on July 17th to honor and remember those with a GBM and their families. All gifts to the Musella Foundation on July 17th will be restricted to GBM research only (Unless you tell us otherwise)! To donate, click here!
