In this webinar, I, Al Musella, DPM, explore potential approaches I would consider if diagnosed with Glioblastoma. We entertain a hypothetical scenario where we have the freedom to experiment with various treatment combinations, a flexibility that, regrettably, doesn't exist in the real world currently. No one has access to the combination of treatments I discuss, but they represent my vision for the future of brain cancer therapy—a future that promises significant breakthroughs.

 

Under the current system, we might expect to see such advancements within 20 to 40 years. However, I propose an ambitious plan to expedite this process: the Promising Pathway Act, where we will get easy access to these treatments within a year of the bill passing, and have the learning system in place to track the outcomes. This would enable us to rapidly determine the most effective treatment combinations for individual patients, potentially accelerating our journey towards groundbreaking discoveries in brain cancer treatment.
