Dear Friends and Family,
The "Inaugural Brain Tumor Golf Scramble" (to benefit our dad's scholarship fund) is less than 7 weeks away! We are extremely excited to host this event, raise awareness about brain tumors...and ultimately, scholarships for students who have lost a parent or have a parent battling a brain tumor!! We are the only scholarship of its kind in the United States. Last year, we awarded $6,000 in scholarship money. Here are the details:
When: August 26, 2006
Where: "The Legends" at Orange Lake Resort & Country Club in Kissimmee, Florida
Cost: $125 per person or $450 per foursome (includes breakfast, lunch, cart, golf shirt, prizes for the winning/loosing teams and a good time for a great cause!)

Thanks to the work of many volunteers and the generosity of the Orlando Community, we have some great prizes and silent auction items. These items include 2007 Jaguar for the hole-in-one winner, passes to Disney, SeaWorld, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sky Venture, Gatorland, massages, numerous dinner gift certificates, 7 days lodging in France, the Bahamas and North Georgia, (2) Hooters Wing Parties for 10, Golf Equipment/Supplies, 50 plus rounds of golf to various courses, Boat Rentals, Signed golf flag and items from David Toms, Signed NASCAR memorabilia, cooking classes at Roy's, cookbook from Emeril's, bowling and movie gift certificates to name a few. An auction list will be sent out prior to the tournament for those of you who cannot come to the scramble and want to join in on the bidding frenzy!
