Promising Pathway Act Update.

The Promising Pathway Act is a bill introduced into Congress that we are trying to get passed. For details and to help it along, go to virtualtrials.com/activism.cfm

I wanted to share with you an update on it’s status.   There are now 10 cosponsors, 6 republican and 4 democrats:

Rep. Gallagher, Mike [R-WI-8]*

Rep. Swalwell, Eric [D-CA-15]*

Rep. Westerman, Bruce [R-AR-4]*

Rep. Van Drew, Jefferson [R-NJ-2]

Rep. Napolitano, Grace F. [D-CA-32]

Rep. Bacon, Don [R-NE-2]

Rep. Fitzpatrick, Brian K. [R-PA-1]

Rep. Craig, Angie [D-MN-2]

Rep. King, Peter T. [R-NY-2]

Rep. Beatty, Joyce [D-OH-3]

Unfortunately, that means there are 425 representatives in the House that are not cosponsors!  We need more. If we can get to 290 cosponsors, then we can bypass a lot of red tape.

So far we sent over 6,500 letters from our website.  That is a great start but we need many more!  If your representative is on the list above – send them a note of thanks. If not, send them a request to become a cosponsor!
