Al's Comment:
This edition of the Brain Tumor Guide For The Newly Diagnosed is a huge upgrade from prior version! Only the electronic edition is available now. We will be sending the files to the printer to get a soft cover version in a few days! Please let me know if you spot any problems in the guide! We have a few days to correct it before it goes to printer! IF you order the printed version, we will be sending the old 11th edition of the guide until the new edition is available!

Glioblastoma Awareness Day is celebrated on the third Wednesday of July. In honor of today’s 4th annual Glioblastoma Awareness Day, the Musella Foundation published the Twelfth Edition of it’s “Brain Tumor Guide For The Newly Diagnosed”. This book is a primer for patients, caregivers and anyone interested in malignant brain tumors. It contains information that you really need to know and understand when making these most important decisions of your lives. This allows you to speak with your care team and already know the basic concepts so you can use your time with your doctors discussing your case instead of learning the basics.
The Twelfth edition is a major upgrade from the previous version. The page count has more than doubled. From 126 pages in the Eleventh Edition to 351 pages in the Twelfth edition! We listened to your feedback and expanded coverage of everything.
The electronic version of the book is now available on our website at https://virtualtrials.org/Guide.cfm We just sent the book to the printer and the soft cover printed version will be available in a few months. As before, we do not charge for these books – but as you can imagine, costs have quadrupled since we last printed these books, so we do gently request a donation to cover the cost of printing and mailing!
A very special thanks to Linda Singer and Jana Piscioneri who did most of the work on the update, along with the members of our “Clinical Trials & Noteworthy Treatments For Brain Tumors” facebook group who offered ideas and proofreading!
