In Memory of Charlene A. Thompson

February 15, 1959 - August 2, 2022

Charlene A. Thompson, 63, of Taylor entered into eternal rest on Tuesday evening at Allied Skilled Nursing after a valiant fight with glioblastoma. Her loving family was at her side.

Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ann Kanetski and was a graduate of West Scranton High School, class of 1977. Charlene worked for Wells Fargo Bank, Taylor for many years. She was always there to help anyone in need and everyone was greeted with a smile. She loved to do crafts, especially beautiful wreaths and was known for her delicious cooking and baking.

Ashley would like to thank the staff of Allied Skilled Nursing, especially Tom Auriemma, for his compassion, friendship, and wonderful care he gave to Charlene. For this she will be forever grateful.

Surviving is a daughter Ashley and fiancee Chad Chiesa, The Dalles, OR; Kori Leoszewski and her children, whom she adored; and her countless friends who were always by her side throughout her life.

A memorial gathering is on Wednesday August 10 from 5 to 7 at the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St. Taylor, followed by a funeral service at 7 by the Rev. Ginger Daubenhauser, officiating.
