Belinda Kay Dooley Sparks, age 60 of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away at Baptist Health Hospital of Lexington on November 6, 2023, after a strong battle against brain cancer. She was born July 22, 1963, in Clay County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of late Billy Ray Dooley and Lola Stepp Dooley.
She was a supply chain coordinator at the Marcum and Wallace Hospital. She has been a lifelong resident of Estill County and was a member of Church of the Living God in Winchester, Kentucky.
Belinda loved a good cup of coffee and casual porch time to visit. She was proud to attract more hummingbirds than anyone and looked forward to them each year. She was a strong-hearted woman with the fight of a warrior. She set an example to work hard, find joy in the simple things, and always "B" Strong.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to support the fight against brain cancer. Donations are recommended to one of the organizations below or can be provided to Jeremy/Tiffany Sparks to submit. Both organizations contributed to Belinda's care through this journey.
When you make the donation below, we will already know that it is in loving memory of Belinda and we will send an acknowledgement to her family, but you can also add a message, or tell us how you want your name to appear on the acknowledgement in the memo below.
